Researching Magazine Photos- Blog #26

Welcome Back!

In this blog, I will show you the type of photos I want to have in my magazine. Now that I know what genre I want my magazine to be and I have a main subject for my feature story, I can figure out what type of pictures I want to have. Today, I searched up “full body photos for fashion” and “close-up photos for fashion” to result in the four below. For my cover page, I was thinking of taking a full body picture of Luciana, my subject, probably in a unique pose like in the picture on the bottom right. For my table of contents, I want to fit in two photos. I want the first photo to be a mid shot, like in the picture above on the top right. I also wanted to complement one of my other feature stories in my table of contents with a picture of a bouquet of flowers from an aerial point of view. Finally, for my double-page spread sheet, I want a close-up picture of  Luciana’s face to cover the whole page so I could have the second page with my feature story. All of these angles and shots are typical for a fashion magazine.
