Final Magazine Table of Contents- Blog # 49

Welcome Back!

In this blog, I will be revealing my final Table of Contents with some updated details.

1) I added the pictures that pertain to its corresponding page number.

2) As you may have noticed, the page number ‘4’ is colored a dark reddish-wine. So is the subjects name ‘Luciana’ and the page number on the picture of my subject. Vogue does this thing in their table of contents where they ‘highlight’ their feature story. They do this by making a significant difference where the feature story is shown on the table of contents that still stay within the theme of the magazine. That is what I did here, I put an outstanding color on the number correspondent with Luciana’s feature story.

3) I made sure to put the masthead, ETERNA,  on the top right of the page.

4) I added a silk background and the image number on the bottom left.

5) I used three titles to add up to one title, ‘INSIDE LUCIANA’S MIND.” I used those titles to sort of decorate and fill in any blanks on the page.

6) I also changed the stories for pages 4 and 8. If you look at my survey blog, I was honestly going for a different direction with my magazine. I chose retro, really earthy colors. However, I ended up being drawn into the the classism and professional look for my magazine. Especially because my subject gives off more of a classy vibe than retro. Anyways, that is what I wanted to showcase throughout my magazine.

7) Overall, I made my table of contents simple but also complementary to to the rest of my magazine.

I made an analysis on Canva on the magazine conventions I used.
